Portia Wilson (she/they) is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist in Los Angeles, California. After graduating magna cum laude from Emperor’s College she founded Deeper Genius Acupuncture and Healing Arts to facilitate a practice of holistic healthcare that focuses on providing culturally informed, evidenced based medical and spiritual care to her clientele of brilliant, compassionate, creative people.
She is a native of St. Louis, a Howard University graduate, and a queer woman of color actively working to create avenues for accessible, preventative wellness.
Informed by intersectional feminism and a belief that we each have a personal genius to offer the world, Portia's practice seeks to provide solace, education, advocacy and optimal healthcare outcomes for her largely queer, trans, GNC, and BIPOC patient population. She is committed to creating an equitable world that values the health and well being of all. Her life’s work is to help each of us amplify our Deeper Genius for the betterment our communities and the planet at large.

Kate Carson, MSTCM, L.Ac. (she/they)
Licensed Acupuncturist, Herbalist
Kate is a queer, nonbinary acupuncturist who holds a Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as 15 years of experience in the field of alternative medicine and 6 years of experience as an acupuncturist & herbalist. They chose to become a care provider in hopes of closing some of the gaps left open by our current medical system. Kate is committed to trauma-informed and intersectional care that centers and upholds patient safety.
